    Made a more traditional one for my brother-in-law (whether he likes it or not!)

    Hilt is an antler tine from a fallow deer, with a Culloden bog oak bolster (HUGE thanks to Rab Gordon)

    My latest experiment is acid-etching blades (originally to replicate damascus steel) & as Bill has this thing for Celtic spiral work, this seemed a reasonable option for the blade. Hope you all like it

    Beautiful work. Are you making sheaths as well? I'd like to see a pic of how the knife fits the sheath.
