Some lightweight wool tartans @ $16/yd

Some of these look familiar (including a Black Watch variant). They're all too lightweight for good kilting, but folks are often asking about fabric for other uses so I thought I'd share this link. Supplier is a fine tailoring establishment in the Los Angeles garment district. BTW they also carry the heavyweight Hymo that IIRC Barb T has blessed as a Tailor's Pride equivalent, and bow tie hardware (hidden under Tuxedo Supplies).

    Their tartans
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

Not to shabby, the first picture in the lot is my own Baird tartan, although the modern variety.

Ya, I used their heavyweight Hymo on my Stillwater conversion, and in the apron of a canvas kilt. It seems to have worked well. They have all kinds of neat stuff.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
