Somewhere in the threads that McMurdo linked for you will be a list of characteristics that make a jacket "good" for conversion. These include details such as side vents (vs. a center vent), button placement, lapel style, etc. But as with many kilted topics, the pictures tell the story best! If you're really worried about it, post your pics pre-conversion and you'll get some suggestions. Or just rip into it and show us how well it turns out!
