A tweed jacket and a beard!!!!!

Well, I finally managed to finish off my Tweed Jacket conversion just in time for Hogmanay and, to top it off, finally managed to grow a decent beard.

So here are a few pictures.
It's a dark brown tweed with two vent splits in the back, gauntlet cuffs and brass, diamond shaped 'lion' kilt buttons.

(Please excuse the fact that these shots show my lovely green pyjama t-shirt.)

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I like the look and it fits very comfortably.

Looks very sharp, Arlen! congrats! But I'm confused about the second pair of pics. Were they taken at the same time? The colors of both the shirt and kilt look very different.

Nice Arlen wear it well, are you able to see Diane tonight?

The second set of shots were taken before the first. I was still wearing my jammies and just put the jacket on over my t-shirt to get close up shots.

Very unlikely. We might get to talk on the phone for a while when she gets back from work.

It looks like the end of March will see me back in America.

But is it the same kilt? It looks reddish in the first two shots, and green in the second pair.

Congrats on the jacket! It looks really nice. Congrats on the beard as well; now you are officially able to post on the "Kilts and beards" thread.

No, in the second shots that would be my jammies (Green t-shirt and boxers.)
