O' Neille when you get your loom set up I'd love to do a road trip to see your set up, and watch how the double is woven. How far is seirra vista from PRescott? I'm looking forward to the design and build of the new loom. I've had a large floor loom design for a few years, but the cost of solid timbers at the size I need is prohibitive at the moment. The one we are looking at is much smaller.

I'm guessing you need an 8-shaft loom to do double? Set up the first 4 to do one side, and the other 4 to do the other side? Then, when you throw the shuttle, you do 1-4, 2-4, 2-4, 1-4?

That's what I'm guessing as well. I know how to run the warp for a double, but haven't looked into the tredling or tie-ups.
