It is a simple flight to Harrisburg and only about four turns once you are in the car. A hotel in Gettysburg and you could get historical at Gettysburg and hysterical at Mannings. A historically hysterical trip you could write off against your business.
Melissa Weaver Dunning is also doing a week long workshop on tartan weaving at the John C. Campbell Folk School in September. It's a part of their Scottish Heritage Week, so there are many other Scottish themed arts and crafts being taught as well. I hope to treat myself to the trip for my birthday this year!
...however they are moving and have temporarily suspended the tartan weaving classes at this time.
