When the time came to look for some new members of the Mod Squad some 2 years ago Bradley, Glen, and I each had a candidate that we thought would be an exceptional Moderator for the forum we cared so much about.
You were mine.
The funny thing was that the three of us were so sure of our choice we couldn't agree to one candidate over the other. Neither could the rest of the Mod Squad.
In the end we finally agreed...to bring on three new moderators.
You, Mike, and Bill did a tremendous job. This is a volunteer position with no pay and no real benefits save one...the knowledge that you were giving back to a community you were proud to be part of.
As the last of the old Kilted Mod Squad, I congratulate you on a job well done and wish you success in your new business. I’m sure you will approach it with the same sense of integrity, hard work, and humor that you showed in your time here as part of the staff.
You have my respect, my thanks, and my friendship
