The Owner and Moderating Staff of X Marks the Scot would like to apologize for the rather abrupt closure of the “Show us your Pics” forum. We acknowledge that this was not handled in the most appropriate fashion. It is our decision, based on the needs and desires of the membership of XMTS, to re-open this popular feature. The Gallery will remain and be developed as a compliment, not a replacement for the “Show us your Pics” forum.

We do ask that picture threads be kept to a single thread for an event or trip. For example, if several people wish to post pictures of the same Burns’ Night Supper they should do so on one thread. If one wishes to post pictures of a trip please refrain from creating multiple parts . The Moderating staff will merge such into a single thread. We thank you for your cooperation in this.

We are not perfect, but rest assured that when we make changes or updates to X Marks the Scot the intent is always to make this place a better one.
