Send Batch PM To All Members Of A Social Group

Hey guys, is there a way to send a PM to everyone in a social group at one time. I know you can start a thread in the groups area but I'm guilty of not going there very often myself and I imagine it would be helpful if we posted the meet of a thread in the forum but then a PM went out letting everyone in the group know that there has been a post to the group area.

Is this doable?
