Just heard the Dropkick Murphys on T.V.
Hey Rabble,
Watching E:60 on ESPN 2 about Dana White, they were talking about him being from South Boston. In the background the Dropkick Murphys were singing "Shipping Up to Boston".

That song was also featured in the movie The Departed. Kinda like that tune myself.

The Australian Football League has adopted the song for its adverts.

They do an awesome St Patrick's Day set of seven concerts in six days here. The problem is the concerts are sold out seven minutes after the tickets go on sale. I was lucky to score two for the concert this year. Green fields was great. The whole show is superb. The band video'd the concert and all of us fans in action. Love when Al brings the mic into the pit and the band stops so that the fans supply the lyrics. it is great to live in their home town, just a half a mile from Fairmount Hill. (Meanest of Times CD track 10) That is my neighbourhood, and the lyrics pretty well describe its people.
