Apologies if this has already been posted, but there is a new Afghanistan Campaign tartan, and J. Higgins claims to be the sole N. American distributor:

Although I really like this tartan (I have a thing for earthtones), I can find no record in either The Scottish Register of Tartans, The Scottish Tartans Authority or The Scottish Tartan World Register.

I wonder if this is a flyer - announce a tartan and if there is enough interest then register and weave it. Time will tell.
