    An Array Of Macdonald Tartans

Macdonald of the Isles Hunting weathered has now topped my wish list. Its hard to find pics of this tartan in a finished kilt. Surfing for those pics I ran across this site. http://www.clandonaldusa-northpacifi...encoe2008.html

Its a Glencoe memorial service but very well done and there's most every variation of Macdonald tartan being worn. It is a long download for dial up, but worth it. The pics are very well done and large enough to see the tartans well.

    Enjoy cousins

Fantastic tartan. And it's available in Strome.

Thanks for the link to the flash slide show.

Thanks Ron for bringing that to our attention.
    Very moving.

We passed through that area last summer on a trip. It is hard to imagine how difficult the land would be to travel through in winter so long ago.

Excellent. Thanks for pointing that out Ron. I don't recall ever looking at the North Pacific web site before.

I have a trip to the Portland area soon...perhaps I'll stop and pay respects. Thanks for that, Ron.

    Fantastic, Ron. Thanks for that.
I do love the Macdonald of the isles so the weather would be great.
I still really want a Macdonald modern weathered.

Dang, Ron, that was very nice. I got so tied up with the pictures and music that I forgot to watch the tartans.

    Thanks.
