    Budge Tartan

Does anyone know about a Budge tartan? I know that they were located in Northern and Southern Scotland, and that the 2 branches are Septs of 2 different Clans, but my in laws are descended from a budge who all I really know about him was that his grandparents were born in Caithness, and he emigrated to Utah in the 1800's.

Well, I found a few things about the surname here...

And from what else I can find it's recommended that they wear the Macdonald or Sinclair tartans.

If it were me, and I knew the Grandparents were both from Caithness, nothing seems more fitting than the district tartan.
