Andrew
From Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
My mother is a Stewart, born in Coatbridge Scotland, I do know there are many Stewart's on the forum, or those with a connection best of luck. Perhaps you could introduce yourself in the Kilt Board Newbie section. I also notice you are in Toronto, we do have kilt nights about once a month if you are interested, keep an eye out for posts about SOKS (The Southern Ontario Kilt Society)
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."

Does that invitation extend to Denisons (sept of Stewart of Galloway, if I remember correctly)? Or any sept of the Stewarts, actually.
I'll second McMurdo's welcome and mention of the SOKS, and add that there will be a few of us wandering about the games at Fergus this weekend.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

How about those of us who's ancestors fought for Prince Charlie? Just kidding.

And the Romans who raise the child Prince Charlie and keep a good eye on his Royal coffin under S. Peter Abbey?
Proud owner of a "X Marks The Scot Clan Crest Badge".
And if a X mark the Scot, put an X on yourself and you are done!

And mine of MacLeod- that wouldn't stop me from joining the Stewarts.
