Clan Chief has passed away
I don't know where to really put this, so I thought I would put it here.
The MacLeod Clan chief, John MacLeod, my clan chief, has passed away after fighting Leukemia. I am not sure if we have other MacLeod's here, but thought you all would like to know. I know several of you here do like the MacLeod tartan and wear it. I will have to have some Taliskers tonight in honor.

Damn, that really is a shame. I'll be sure to think of him when I wear my MacLeod.

I did not even know he had leukemia. He got remarried only a few years ago to a Swedish lady. How appropriate considering we came from the Norse.

Holdfast MacLeod's
and thanks to whoever moved this to Heraldry. I was going to post this there, but was not too sure.

I'm not sure what the etiquette is upon the death of a clan chief but respectful condolences to members of Clan McLeod, may his soul rest in peace, and may his successor accept the burden and the duties for the success and glory of the clan.
