Danish Tartan

I have been looking around for a Danish Tartan, which I would assume to be red and white in color. I can't seem to find it at any kilt makers. A friend of mine is getting married, and I am wearing a kilt, but she asked if I would wear a red and white one, since those are the colors she has arranged for, I am trying to acquiesce and get a tartan my dad can be proud of as well.

Sorry if this question was already asked, I didn't find it.

The Doyle one is awesome, I'm getting one of those no matter what.

However on this Bonbright page it doesn't let me select the Danish Tartan, and I can't find it anywhere. What am I missing?

Sorry I just discoved that too. Maybe just drop then a mail. Their work is good. The president of the Cally here in Norway had a kilt made up in their Norwegain centenial tartan and it looks great

Yeah, I will have to send them one, perhaps they can send me the fabric and I'll get it made. Else they make the kilt for me.

If you are looking for a specifically red & white tartan that is going to be readily available, how about Dress Menzies?

And of course MacMedic tartan would be an option. Think Matt made this one up for MacDougall.

If you didn't want it when the wedding was over I'm sure it would sell well to a paramedic.

I had toyed with the idea of a Menzies tartan. The MacMedic one would be a good choice too. The other wall I keep running up against is actually buying the kilt, I had initially planned on getting a very formal kilt. My current one is one of the heavyweights from SWK, which didn't really hurt my bank account. I think instead of getting an actually full blown expensive kilt, I'll go with another one like the one I have. I don't think I'd be able to sell it though, I'm a terrible pack rat

I want to thank all you guys for the advice and information. I still need to put up some pictures of me in my first kilt. I'll be getting around to that sometime.
