Elementary, Watson! Look up some of the Scottish Highland games that take place in your part of the world. You'll probably find a Watson booth there manned by fellow Watsonians.

The Watson clan site linked above is pretty stale (last updated in 2000). Take a look at the U.S.SCOTS Directory of Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festivals, which doesn't appear to be all that well maintained either, but it does have some information on games in North Carolina.

Probably a better site for games information though is the Association of Scottish Games and Festivals. They have what appears to be a very complete listing.

    Good luck!

    Google is your friend.

Just google "Clan whatever" and you'll find links....

And, as mentioned, the highland games about.

As Wood was a sept of Watson, a big hello from a fellow clan member. My 8 yard traditional kilt in in the ancient Watson tartan.

Todd has already given you the site I was going to post.

If yours is like mine most of the websites are old and remain not updated for long periods. Most of the people I've met, and info gotten have been at games.

Here's some more information specific to Watson both a clan in its own right, and a sept of Buchanan: http://www.rideau-info.com/ken/genea...tson-sept.html
