Thats a neat site. I didn't know there were so many of us in New Hampshire.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Very interesting indeed! According to the "root of this surname" section, Gingles is Celtic with a Scottish subgroup. Perhaps I have a stronger link to kilts than I thought!

Wow, that's a really interesting site and very informative. It's fascinating to know that my surname Hume is (in the British Isles) strongest only in Scotland, whereas the alternative (and lesser known) spelling Home is strongest in the north of England.
The Kilt is my delight !

    Very cool. Thanks
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
