| | | The Highlander Magazine
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone subscribed to The Highlander Magazine. (It has nothing to do with the movies; it's about Scottish history/ heraldry) I read its sister magazine Scottish Magazine and enjoy it very much. I just wanted to see what other members though before I went ahead and ordered it. I have heard it is good but I have never been able to lay my paws on a copy to see for myself.
Thanks,
Sara

I've subscribed to it for years; I don't think there is anything else out there which has more information on Scottish history, including historical persons and events, clans, and sites, as well as some current news of Scotland and Scottish activities in the US.

Hi Jamie,
Yes that is the magazine, I was just wondering if anyone subscribed to it or has read any issues to let me know if it is a good publication or not. It's fairly expensive to subscribe to here in Canada and before I plunk down the cash...I need a review..
Thanks
Sara
It's to balance out my reading I already subscribe to too many Holmes publications

I've subscribed to at least 20 years.

You know, I used to get old copies from a friend when he was done with them. That was a wonderful magazine! *runs off to subscribe himself!*

I have been a subscriber for several years and I really enjoy it.
Each volume is packed full of information, history, and
excellent stories.
I highly recommend it.

Hrm, it looks very interesting. I need to get a PO Box... I get enough mail as it is without being able to keep it separate!
