After putting "Honour" beside "Heritage" I would be inclined to say that the former is a knock-off of the latter. The colours are somewhat similar but the sett is very different.

I bought a "Spirit of Scotland" kilt from the Golds several years ago, but it was in fact the "Heritage of Scotland" tartan. The Golds play fast & loose with names and products.

It's a "Spirit of Scotland"... ..at least according to ebay. I have an acrylikilt in it, and I like it a lot. Perhaps my favorite non-wool I own.

They are all very similar to one another but all the setts are different. Everybody wants to sell their own version of some tartan that is emotionally "attached" to Scotland so there are a lot of lookalikes out there.

I do think, ignoring the white stripe in the Honour Of Scotland tartan, that it does look the most like the Spirit of Scotland tartan. Perhaps that is the one it was trying to look like. That probably solves the mystery of what exactly Honour Of Scotland is. Maybe they added the white stripe to avoid copyright issues...
Agreed - according to the tartan register, there is no white in Spirit of Scotland. The tartan with white stripe is Heritage of Scotland. The Golds employ an "Economy of Truth."

Ah yes, my bad. I got the names mixed up. I guess its easy to do. Whichever it is, its not the one that's registered.
