How about a run of X Marks Tartan fabric-a Poll

Hello Rabble and Rabblettes,

I would like to start thinking of doing another run of X Marks Tartan fabric.
If we start now perhaps we can have some fabric by the holidays.

So I'm starting this poll for the membership to state their preference.

Please understand - This will be for the original colors only. We will not be voting of alternate color versions right now.

Here is the original design for the X Marks the Scot.com Tartan from Matt Newsome.

Please make your selection for your preference of fabric composition in the Poll above.
Please make only vote.

The options are;

1) 13 oz. per linear yard Wool from Fraser & Kirkbright Weaving in Vancouver. @ approx. $52.00us per yard
(this option is the same as the first run of fabric except for a clean Selvedge.)

2) 16 oz. Per linear yard Merino Wool from Fraser & Kirkbright Weaving in Vancouver. @ at approx. $68.62 us per yard
(this option is the same as the 2nd, & 3rd run.)

(Selecting option 1 or 2 will probably result in slightly lower price than option 3 & 4 because we have already dealt with Gordon and he has our Thread Count, and we do not have to worry about shipping and duty from the UK)

3) 13 oz. Scottish Wool from Marton Mills in the UK. @ approx. $52.68us/yd + duty, shipping & special weave charges.

4) 16 oz. Scottish Wool from Marton Mills in the UK. @ approx. $66.24us/yd + duty. shipping & special weave charges.

5) 12 oz. per linear yard Poly/Viscous from Marton Mills. @ approx. $27.52us/yd + duty, shipping & special weave charges.
(If we go with the P/V we will specify a Kilt Selvedge and not fringed.)

Please note that the price quoted is for double width fabric.

I have the 16oz from the last run, I think that PV would be a good second choice.

Of course, I am being completely selfish here.

I have a wonderful kilt made from the 16 oz. in the last run, but I would love a second kilt in the XMTS tartan (plated to the white stripe this time?) in PV.

For those that can't afford the cost for wool, Poly Viscose is a great option. I believe this is the same fabric that Rocky uses for his brilliant USA Kilts semi-traditional line.

I am ready for a 16oz Wool kilt, and/or a P/V kilt in the XMTS tartan. I voted for the Wool, but would like to buy both.

Would there be a designated kilt maker for those of us who don't know how to make our own kilts? Or is there someone on here who can do a custom fitted knife pleated kilt? I would be interested in a PV, for now I can only afford one tank.
