    Post Interesting choice of tartan

after seeing this story and the interesting choice of burberry tartan for the costumes.. it got me wondering what would folk think if it was there own clan tartan or a tartan with a connection being used in this way

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worl...e-skating.html

i know tartan is almost universal but burberry to me is confused tartan if a tartan can be confused that is ...one week its with the highest paid stars athletes and the like while another weeks its the tartan labeled with neds chavs - the sort of folk you`d never want to associate in your life

personally i dont think id want to ever see my beloved Chisholm tartan and its variants used like this but would others be glad of a tartan that people from all walks of class and other nations look at it and go "ahh burberry " knowing exactly what it is

I have to respect the courage and commitment that it takes to wear those trousers!
