    Louder than MacLeod?

    Can anyone identify this tartan?

Is it some variation of a Rainbow tartan? What do you think: is it the next Isle of Skye, or destined for the "World's Ugliest Tartan" thread?

    Regards,
    Rex.

Don't know Rex but I kinda like it. If this is the pride tartan then it's done well.

A bit busy. Minus the red and I would like it.

to me, 6 colors (especially ones that are so different) is too much. I KNOW that some guys up here like the MacPherson Red and Caledonia tartans, but I prefer the more "subdued" and muted tones.

Please note... I DON'T MIND COLOR (I love Isle of Skye), just when there's too much going on in one tartan.

Sounds like it has several of the colors I can't look good wearing... Bright orange, bright yellow, bright red, and so on. Oh well.

They need a pastel pride tartan...

It does sort of look like one of the MacBeth tartans - I see what you mean.

I love my Macpherson in weathered colors, but the modern red is too much for me too, Rocky.

I think that is too loud for me.

It is... well... uhm... colorful - but by no means in the hunt for world's ugliest tartan!

I have always liked the Buchanan tartan and this resembles it. I like it.
