    Make your own tartan

    http://houseoftartan.co.uk/interacti...rm.asp?a=clear

This might be a dupe, but I dont remember seeing it posted here before.

I made up some really nice patterns, I just might have to get them made. Anyone ever order anything from there yet?
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

I've played with it (if you go to my web site, the tartan under the menu bar is the "Duke" tartan I created), but would like some more info. Specifically, how many threads to an inch. Also I remember Barb once posting that you always had to have an even number of threads, but this allows you to use an odd number.

    moved thread...

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but:

please post all tartan-related threads in the heraldry & tartans section.

    Thanks!

Well, as I have not yet found a Brazilian National tartan, I created one!

    behold!

And in case you'd like to know why I used these colors ...

Incidentally, the term "Ordem e Progresso" means "Order and Progress" - neither of which exist in my beloved Brazil.

I made a "Beloit Fire and Police" tartan awhile back:

I'm hoping to outfit the fire dept. I'm teaching in this once they're ready to march.
