    Muir & Moore

    My clan is Muir
My kilt is made in Muir, ancient (the colors show better, my avitar)
I haven't seen a kilt in Muir modern and was wondering if anyone has a kilt made in Muir Modern and would post a picture of it.

I know what the tartan looks like
I am just wondering if the colors show as well in the Modern as they do in the ancient
I'm an 18th century guy born into the 20th century and have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Not kilts, but do these help?

I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I have a pic of Muir modern on my work PC, & will post a pic as soon as I get the chance.
BTW, I have Muir in my maternal background, I assume you are aware of Muir being a strong Sept of Clan Gordon?

I'm aware of the Gordon connection,
and I know that there are many variations of the Gordon Tartan.
So I have many kilt options.
The Muir Mod. is fairly dark and I just would like to see how well the colors stand out in a knife pleated kilt.
