    Rose Tartan

    Hi all
I was thinking about getting a new kilt in Rose tartan as this is the official tartan of my old regiment. I don't recall having seen a kilt made up in this tartan and it's not easy to envision the end product by viewing a sample of fabric. So, does anyone have a Kilt in Rose tartan or does anyone have a photo?

Cajunscot seems to have covered that aspect.

That being said, keep an eye out here:

If I remember right, he has offered Rose tartan (in military heavyweight wool) from time to time.

I've ordered forbes from him and it's pretty good material.

I'm in awe..... you found a wealth of information in such a short time. I actually trained with 4 RTR but was posted to 2 RTR in 1973.

Interesting links, I have now learned the Lamont Tartan is the tartan of the 74th Highland Regiment. It is just amazing what you can learn here.
