Scottish Register of Tartans
Hello All,
Does anybody know what has happened to the Scottish Register of Tartans.
http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/index.aspx
This is now the third day when all I get is "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". All other URLs are working just this one not.
Is it just me, or is anybody else having the same problem?
Regards
Chas

July 13, 2009 was the last email I received from them, I am unable to log into the site as well, I'm trying firefox, ie and google chrome. I've not been able to open it at all.

I had a problem last weekend, but all this week it has been fine, yes, today it's down again, perhaps they use the weekend to update etc?

Let's hope this is only a short term thing. I must admit, I tend to use their site as kind of visual crutch. If someone mentioned a tartan and if I didn't know it well, I would do a quick search of their site. I feel a bit lost without it.

No, it is not working for me either, Chas. I must admit, however, that I very seldom look at that site - my loyalty seems to remain with the STA, probably because I have been using their site for years and know it so well.
Take care,
Ham.

Well it's all back today - lets hope this isn't a regular occurrence. Thanks for the link Paul.
