She said YES! Look out Matt Newsome, here we come!

    Hey all!

I posted on this thread awhile back about creating a tartan in honor of my grandfather. I tinkered with some online tartan generators and came up with a design I like and plan to resister as a surname tartan named for my grandfather. Well, all plans rested on me being a 'good boy' and clicking through the Honey-Do list of Mrs. Pete. (Tough few months of being 'good' ;) )Well, I did it!

I contacted Matt Newsome about how one gets a tartan made and registered etc and look out Matt--I'll be calling for your help very soon.

Thanks to the rabble for your advice on the tartan. As soon as I have a picture I'll post the new "Oren Peterson", Peterson surname tartan!

Matt is very knowledgeable and helpful on doing this. I am looking forward to the photos in the future of this new tartan

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

What - have we all become Jon Gosslyn all of a sudden?

Congrats anyway - this is just part of my continuing emasculation rant.

The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.
