    Taran search advice

Hi guys!!! Long time no see .......

One of the many reasons I haven't been around much is because my girlfriend came to live in Scotland with me. We got engaged last month and now I am looking at getting tank no. 2 for the wedding next year. Only thing is, I am having a nightmare finding a tartan both my brother (my best man), my fiancée and I all like!!!

I found a tartan search when I got my first kilt and I can't find it anymore, I was wondering if any of you guys knew of it. It allowed you to bring up images of your chosen tartan in the different dye schemes (modern/ancient etc). Anyone know the search I am on about??? Thanks guys.

You might want to try the Tartan Ferret at the STA site. Congratulations BTW, and remember that it is you and your bride who should be happy about the choice your brother should wear what you want him to for the day.

Can't get the Ferret to work on my PC tonight (Firefox running on Ubuntu Gutsy). I want to keep my Brother happy. I love him and wouldn't want him to buy a kilt he doesn't like. And thanks!

Ah did not realize he was buying it, well in that case perhaps you should do what P1M did and have everyone in tartans of their own, it really looks smashing and to my mind anyway all the tartans don't have to match.

    Congrats on the engagement!
If it's too hard finding a tartan all can agree on, you can always design one you all like!

Click on the Kilt Store at the top of page: they have a tartan finder linked in the left margin.
