    Tartan Identifcation help please

I've got about 2.75 yards of double width (60") wool tartan material in this tartan, it's pretty old but clean, in great shape, and a little mothbally smelling... but I have been totally unable to ID the tartan. Is anyone able to help?

Looks sorta kinda like the Thomson Camel, but it isn't. Maybe a fashion tartan(?) Do you know where it came from?

This looks like it follows the same basic motif as a lot of fashion tartans that came out a few decades ago, most of which were given "Glen-" names, such as Glen App, Glen Boig, Glen Shee, Glen Trool, etc.

Most of them were simply color variations on a similar theme. I think it likely that this cloth is a fashion tartan after the same vein.

    So - Glen Tharkis?
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I've seen this tartan on ebay and it is a fashion tartan as Matt says it's likely to be. Don't know which one? It certainly is beautiful.
