| | | An Unusual Tartan
Living with a kilt maker, I recently had the chance to come across a quite unusual tartan : The Reiver or Buccleuch.
I hope you enjoy these photos:
Best,
Robert

I've always admired that particular tartan, Robert, due to its resemblance to the Burns Check and Nothumberland/Shepherd tartan.
It is interesting to note that the pipers one of the Territorial Battalions of the King's Own Scottish Borderers wore the Buccleuch tartan/check.

Wonderful photos Robert, it is a real treat to see a skilled kilt maker working on her craft.

Being the proud owner of a Burns Check kilt, I can say I LIKE!

Wow, that is a busy check!
Looks great though, I like the subtle blue checks.
