I am working that weekend so lunch time may be a bit difficult- though not entirely out of the question. I can live with group concensus. Has anyone contacted Spartan?

I don't think so.

Why don't we try for a weekend in May? I'd like it if the majority of folks could make it...and especially for a lunch gig!

If we set a time around 1 say on the 17th, that should be ok. If we look at May then the 8th (Prescott Games) is out and the following weekend (15/16) I will be on call again.
Just my 2 cents.

I can fire off a note to Spartan.

Thanks for the note, Todd. I haven't checked in here for some time, so I missed the thread. As of right now, I can do April 17.

Off topic, sort of, Lis Doon Varna is having Kilt Nights on Wednesdays. Drafts are 2 for 1 from 6 - 8 pm.

What say the rabble? Do we have a "Kilt Afternoon"?

Catdad, MuffinMan, Scratchy & MB, are you guys able to make it?

Since this is an afternoon gig, please feel free to bring your family, SO or any friends that may be interested...the more the merrier!!

If anyone else is able to make it, please respond in the thread so I have an idea of how many seats we'll need!

Sorry, B. Somm. we won't be able to make it this time. My wife and I are working as VIP ushers at Country Thunder. Our "pay" will be donated to our Lions club.

Please do post reviews of the place because from the web site it sounds like a good place. Since Sionnach is confirmed, I'll expect pictures!

Note to Spartan, comparisons to your favorite place, Lis Doon Varna would be appreciated!

Bummer! Gonna miss you & Mrs. Catdad! Have fun at Country Thunder...that's a place & time that I have NO desire to be around! It's one thing camping with a bunch of drinkin' SCA folks, but a bunch of drinkin' "country" folks is a whole 'nother ballgame!
