| | Bay Area Kilt Night Oct 31 or Nov 1?
My lovely wife and I will be in the Bay Area over the Halloween weekend and would like to meet some of the Xmarkers that weekend. We know that other plans may have been made and understand. We will enjoy our weekend together no matter what.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,
Halloween is a tough weekend. I know Saturday is right out. I'd have to say Sunday is a big maybe. What part of the Bay are you staying in?
Best regards,
Jake

We'll be staying in Burlingame. I have to work at SFO for a couple of days the following week.

Best regards,
Jake | I'm with M@A on the Saturday. I am scheduled to have Scooby that week and Sunday is a school night, but not impossible.

We can go just about anywhere from San Francisco to San Jose. Anywhere else and I would have to get a map or directions. It's been a few years since I was there, but I know how to read a map or follow directions. Just don't like GPS, been following those using them and we got lost anyway.
Sunday would be better for us, but it would have to be a relatively early evening since my lovely wife has to catch an early flight back to Pittsburgh.

Would like to meet up with you and your wife, but Halloween is a big do for us and it would depend on the details
Cheers

Since it's been a few years since I was in the Bay Area without having to escort customers to Fisherman's Wharf or Chinatown on the weekend, we are open to any suggestions about where and when we could meet other Xmarkers.
Please do not feel obligated to meet if you have other plans. My wife and I completely understand since we have been on both sides of the issue.
On a side note, there was a Cajun restaurant in San Jose in 2003. I cannot remember the name. Is it still there or has it closed?
Thanks,
Don

We could possibly meet up at the Swinging Door in San Mateo. I need to check it out, anyway. I'll check and see if they're open on Sunday eves...

Thanks,
Don | That restaurant is still there, Poor House Bistro; I'm on their email list. It's down by the arena.
