Celtic Night

Attention, Nor-Cal Rabble:

The Celtic Night at Ye Olde Royal Oak Pub that was scheduled for this Wednesday (9/2/09) has been cancelled because the pub is now under new management and they will be remodeling/redecorating on that day. Hopefully, the Celtic Nights will resume on Sept 09 and we won't have to look for a new location.

That was sudden! Wasn't Celtic Night canceled because of the Pleasanton Games? Please let us know anything you hear about the Royal Oak; it was becoming a good place to get together.

The web site (http://www.meetmeattheoak.com/) now says "Under New Ownership" and all the old content is gone. Eagerly awaiting any news.

Uh-oh! The web page http://www.meetmeattheoak.com/ is "parked" and there's word that it may revert back to the Coleman Still. http://www.yelp.com/biz/ye-olde-roya...t_by=date_desc

We may need to find another venue.

Celtic nights at The Royal Oak Pub/Coleman Stills Pub have been place on hold until further notice. As soon as I have more information, I will post it. However, due to a change in my work schedule, the goes into effect immediately, I won't be able to attend the Celtic Night events when they do resume.

Well Rabble;

It's official. The new owners of Ye Olde Royal Oak Pub/Coleman Still have decided not to keep the Celtic Nights. The hunt is on for a new locale.
