I apologize for the long term absence, but life throws ya curveballs and my mentality is to chase them around wildly swinging the bat.

So to make life a little more exciting, I would like to see how many folks would be interested in attending the Lake Irvine Mud Fest on 16 October.

Yep, Mud Fest. That would be a 5k mud run followed by . . . BEERS!!!!

I have a sport kilt that I plan on running in . . . granted, with a group, we don't necessarily have to "run" but could have a muddy, kilted, crazy good time!

I would like to try to contact Seamus at SportKilt to see if he would donate a few basic models for running in, or to see if he would sponsor a team. . . THIS JUST IN: Seamus has offered a discount on anything a team and I would need from the store! His quarter sponsorship funds are already earmarked, but that's what he offered!

It looks like my timeline is shifting. I'm not sure I'll be there. I remember the media covering the run in years past and it looks like a lot of fun.
