Hey Gibbs, this thing is not all about owning Kilts. It's about having a chance to meet some of your Clan Members. To put a face to a screen name.
To meet and talk to other who share an interest in this thing we call the Kilt.

We understand that you don't have a Kilt yet and don't think that should stand in the way.

I don't care if you wear Burmuda Shorts, Black ankle socks with sandals, and a beenie cap.

Join us when you can. Friday night around the pool with a drink, Sat. during the day, or for dinner Sat. night with Hamish.

Sydnie, thanks! Yep, I plan on being there, with a lovely young lady in tow . . . Even got her to break out the tartan mini skirt!

By the way, any pointers from the seasoned rabble about riding in a car for an hour or so in a SWK standard without completely trashing the pleats? And yes, the thought has crossed my mind on driving in just a shirt and hose . . .

Regnifne, Just because you own a Kilt and are going to a Kilt Night does not mean that you can't take the Kilt off for an hour or so to save it from wrinkles.

If you have a pair of sweat pants get dressed as you would normaly do with the Kilt. Then just before getting into the car slip the sweats on under the Kilt and take the Kilt off.
Then when you arrive you can put the Kilt on over the sweats and slide the sweats off.

For everyone else the Kilt Night at Lyons will start some time around 6:00pm.

Please look through the first posts of this thread to find all the details, address and everything else.

I have been collecting the cell phone no.s of many of those who will attend and offer my cell no. as a way to allow everyone to stay in contact.

When you arrive in Palm Springs give me a call. 1-250-889-0289.
