Nor Cal "Try the Caber" afternoon

If we found a time, like a sunday afternoon, how many of you YoHo's would be up for getting together and tossing some undersized (or full-sized, if you want to) weights? Most of my practice stuff is adjustable from 2 pounds to 60 and I have a range of stones, and now have one "smallish" caber (12 feet and 65 pounds) . For the real unitiated, we can borrow one of Robbins sticks (approx. 14 feet and about 35-40 pounds). I have a weight over the bar setup that's reasonably portable, and you guys could opt to toss the 28'er instead of 42 or 56.

Chime in, if interested. If 6 - 10 folks are up for it, we'll schedule a day.

that sounds like alot of fun, too bad im on the other side of the country. i wish i could hook up with a few guys local that wanted to throw some weight around. the closest thing to a caber toss for me, was me and a guy on a job site tossing some 4" steel pipe about 10'-12' long, it was hell on the hands though!

Oh Man!!

I would love to but ...

We would need a catcher to catch my back when it went out! Kinda like Dagwood Bumstead when he would hurt his back and it would show a star flying out of it. Sad to miss this opportunity but the old back aint what she used to be!

Scooby and I would be interested, although I'm in there with Ray on the back. I would need to be careful of those twisting things.
