Perhaps this is the opportunity to keep Scooby's interest that I was talking about in my Monterey thread. I'll put it on my calendar and hope the time stays available. Scooby is always interested in doing things at Stanford.

Would love to Alan but I still don't think I can make a trip that far yet.

w2f | Yes, the 30th is a "go"...starting at 1:00 PM, going until about 6:00 or 7:00.

It's still a "go". I've invited two of the elite womens athletes that are coming to town for Pleasanton. Whether they'll make it or not, hard to say, but if they do, you will be amazed by Summer and Adriane....they are both wonderful women, smart as the proverbial whip, beautiful and ferociously strong.

I searching for parts to make throwable items for Scooby. I think I just found the lumber in the toss pile outside the shop door to make the caber. I'll have to look around for weight to use for the other things. Then I'll have to put the rack on the car to haul the caber up to the grounds.

Last *bump*.....Throw Party is ON for this Sunday at the Intramural fields at Stanford...same place as last time. 1:00 PM to *whenever*.
Here's a map of that side of the Stanford campus: http://cmgm.stanford.edu/~ahebert/scot_stanfordmap.jpg
Bring stuff to grill (I'll supply the Weber and charcoal) and finger food. We have a new "Intermediate" caber to challenge the new guys and more advanced women. Our "Newbie" caber has dried out and now weighs about 35 pounds, so most anybody can toss that. The weight over the bar apparatus is up.....we're all set.
Come on out and throw with the local athletes, and other X Markers.

Wha' hooo, sounds grand indeed! Alack and alas, I am on my way to South Dakota for a few days, so I shall have to miss this one.
Perhaps next month?
