Are there any Colorado members residing in Colorado Springs?
I need to get my kilt altered and am looking for a tailor in Colorado Springs that can make alterations to my kilt.
Or is altering a kilt something that any good tailor should be able to handle.
Thanks

First, from a former resident of the Springs.
Depending on what you need done on your kilt a good tailor may or may not be able to assist. If you could describe what kind of alterations you need, there are many here that can assist you.

I hope I am replying the correct way. The kilt is too long, goes below my knee.
It is also too loose. I purchased it at Longs Peak Festival last year and need to get it altered to fit. The length problem seems simple enough for a tailor, not so sure about the waist problem. How do you alter the waist?

Have you checked with the Celtic shop in Colorado City? Just a thought.
There is a tailor in Denver that is familiar with Kilts in Denver I-25 and Hampden, by King Soopers.

Thanks for the suggestion GMAN. If I can't get it done locally, I'll go where I need to go to get it done.

Welcome from Michigan I don't know if you have ever worn a kilt before, but if not, make sure you are wearing it high enough. The top of the kilt should be above your belly button. Not down on your hips like pants.
