Kilt Night Connecticut Sun. Dec 11

The 2nd annual Holiday Kilt Night will be held on Sunday December 11, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Playwright Pub, 1232 Whitney Ave, Hamden, Conn.

This will be a casual kilt night with traditional music from 3:00-5:00. The event is co-ed and all are welcome. Bring your friends and family.

This event was well attended last year and we all had a great time. I hope more XMarkers can join us again.

    David
Look at Scottish guys wearing kilts - you could look at them and laugh, but the way they carry themselves, how can you? If you believe in it, that's what makes it cool.Andre Benjamin - American Rapper (formerly known as Dre) Songwriter and Musician

I won't be able to attend this event, as much as I would like, but I was struck by the address on the event, I went to school right by there (30 years ago) Hamden Hall at 1108 Whitney.

    Holiday kilt night? Like Christmas?

I wear the Buchanan tartan - every day is Christmas. No special meaning intended, we just hold it between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Just a bump as we are coming up on the date.

We will be holding a kilt night this Sunday- December 11, 2011- at 3:00 PM at the Playwright Pub, 1232 Whitney Ave, Hamden, Conn.

This is a great Irish Pub with good food and drink and traditional music. When they see us with our kilts they always play some Scottish tunes as well.

    Hope you can join us.
