I've been getting notices of a number of events that The St. Andrew's Society and/or the Northeast Florida Scottish Games will be participating in for the next few months.

I figured a few folk here might have an interest, so:

April 6, 2010--National Tartan Day
We will be celebrating Tartan Day at Culhane's Irish Pub on April 6th. If you plan to come and eat, meet us at Culhanes by 7:00 p.m. We will have room for 60 people reserved to eat in the restaurant. If you do not wish to eat, but want to enjoy the festivities, wear your kilts and colors and help promote our Society. Clay County Pipes and Drums will be invited to play for us.

April 25, 2010--Opening of the Beaches Parade
We've got kilties in a parade! Come and see! Jacksonville Beach!

May 1, 2010--SAS Picnic
Come join us for the spring picnic at Walter Jones Historical Park, 11964 Mandarin Rd. The picnic will run from 12:00- 5:00.

July 31, 2010--Genealogy Workshop
Our resident genealogist, Mr. Richard Cardell will be holding a workshop to assist members in their genealogical researches.
