Today I attended the annual General Meeting of the St. Andrew's Society of Jacksonville. I'm pleased to report that the Society has some exciting events planned for 2010!

First, after a long hiatus, we have a new webmaster (that would be me!) and we'll be unveiling a new, completely redesigned website within the month.

We are actively seeking new members and are looking forward to a dramatically expanded membership. If anyone is interested in joining, or in attending any of the events listed, please PM me! I'll be happy to put you in touch with the responsible parties.

January 24, 2010--Kirkin' O' the Tartans at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine at 11:00 AM

January 29,2010--Kilted Golf Tournament at World Golf Village

Burn’s Nicht at the University of North Florida Conference Center January 30, 2010 at 6:00 PM.

February 21, 2010--Kirkin' O' the Tartans at St. Giles Presbyterian Churchat 10:00 AM. Reception to follow.

February 27, 2010--Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival at 9:00 in Green Cove Springs at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
