it is time to mark your calendars for the next Kilt Night. We will again convene at The Harp Irish Pub on March 27, 2010 at 8:00 pm. See attached flyer for your convenience. Please feel free to send the flyer on to other clan members or friends.
Once again we will be entertained by Jordan Cannady, our pipers, and the Thistle and Kudzu Scottish Country Dancers. In addition to wonderful music and dancing, we will have the "clan calling" again. Please designate one person to come to the microphone to announce your clan by using the clan motto, war cry, etc. We will call the clans at about 8:30 pm to allow everyone time to get to the pub.
A new addition to the program will be our raffle. We have some great items (all Scottish) to give away, so please plan to buy your raffle tickets at the door. The cost will be $2.00 for one ticket and $5.00 for three tickets. What a deal for items running from $3.00 to $40.00!! The raffle will help us defer costs of Kilt Night and allow us to continue such a great evening!

The November Kilt nite was epic. And there is a conjunction of celtic events because on this nite there is a concert of Irish Traditional Music in Roswell at the Red Door Playhouse from 8-10, followed by an ITM session at the Harp. I don't know if these groups are aware of this Celtic collision, but I am really looking forward to it and will definitely bring my bodhran.
