Just giving this a little bump.
I'll see you all tomorrow night.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Looking forward to the gathering of the Clans this evening and meeting everyone. Looks like the weather might even cooperate.

    Apologies

I regret that I couldn't be at kilt night last Saturday. I was suddenly ill, but have recovered.

Perhaps a Monday or Tuesday for Celtic music at Fado or that place in Decatur (The Grange?) before I leave on September 9?

First monday I could do would be Sep 7.

There is also a wednesday session at the Old Blind Dog in Alpharetta. I went last nite and the quality of play was very good. Just about all the instruments were represented, including uillean pipes and squeeze box. I might go there again next week.

    Evening Turpin and S.E.K.S. Rabble,

Can't make it the 7th due to travel to Louisianna, but the Old Blind Dog sounds interesting. Maybe this time I'll bring a dirk that illustrates what happens when a Scotsman loses the family jewels . . . .

Lets say goodby to Gilmore Monday, Sept 7 at Fado in Buckhead. Music is guaranteed, although quality is not. Might be great, might not be. Depends on who shows for the session. I'll be there, regardless.
