| | | Oh come on, where are my Idaho friends?
There are several members that are part of this community and I find it hard to believe that I'm the only member from Idaho. Come on and join in with your stories and questions. The games in Caldwell is coming up on Saturday the 13th. Anyone that can come and support this event please do and wear your kilt! We need to support any event like this that is held in our great state.
So if there are any members out there that live in Idaho or have been through the state and liked what you see, stand up and be counted. I look forward to hearing from you!
Slŕinte!

And Idaho Falls is the nearest place that we in Afton, WY can go shopping, so I consider myself among the Idaho Rabble. Caldwell is too far though. Dang, I'm missing two Highland Games tomorrow
Any of you going to the Jackson Hole Games in August?

Checking in here from Lewiston. Would've liked to have made the games, but work rules! I'm about to change my 12% mortgage for a 4% one so a new kilt may be in the works!

This is great to hear from others from Idaho. Looks like we are spread out all over the state. But at least here we can gather together without worrying about the rising cost of gas.
If there are any events coming up in or near Idaho that you think might be worth taking a look at, please share in this thread.
The Games in Caldwell went well this last weekend. The weather offered a fine overcast day with a few drops of rain here and there. It was a bit on the smaller side but the events were great, the music sweet and the food tasty. It's a great thing anytime an event like this takes place were those of like mind can gather. There are other events coming up this summer and I will try to keep everyone posted on my end.
Thanks again for all who have stopped by and said hello and welcomed me to the group so far. I look forward to getting to know you.

Well, I'm working on some kind of Kilt night here in Boise. Hopefully it will work out.
If nothing else, maybe we can plan a central Idaho meet like 4 months in advance to make sure we can all make it!

Sorry we missed the games in Caldwell! We had been asked to dance there, but then nothing really happened... who knows! Arlen and I are in Boise, and we will be performing at the Jackson Hole games, so we will have to have an Eastern Idaho/WY meetup then. Arlen and I are definitely in for a meetup in the Boise area, and I know we have a member in Caldwell too.
Oh, or you could also come to dance class on Monday nights!
/shameless self-promotion
