Chicago Kilt Night - Turpin is coming to town

Turpin will be in town at the end of the month and is suggesting a Kilt Night at the Duke of Perth Saturday, October 1. Probably starting around 7:30.

For those who haven't been to the Duke of Perth, here's a link to their website They have a great whisky menu and some excellent Scottish Ales.

Damn, I'm already taking off this weekend to go to Oktoberfest. Hopefully I'll be in Chicago soon (October or November) and can meet up with some of you guys then...

My wife and I may be able to make it. Hopefully, I will have my 5 yard Xmarks USA Kilts by then. And, if he hasn't shipped it by then, maybe I can get Turpin to bring my new sporran, too.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, I should be there. I'll probably leave a bit early, but will certainly stay long enough to enjoy a few adult beverages.

Excellent, Carl. I look forward to seeing you again. Auld Argonian will likely be there early as well. He often hangs out there on Saturday afternoons.
