| | | Kentucky Scottish Weekend May 8 - 10
I know its still a month away but, is there anyone planning on attending the Kentucky Scottish Weekend May 8th, 9th & 10th? The wife and I are planning on taking the kiddos again this year and, it would be great to meet up with some "X-Markers" while there.

We had some discussion in the Highland Games thread here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/k...108/index.html.
I'll be there, competing with the Louisville Pipe Band Grade 5 pipe line.

EagleJCS, , I guess I should have done a search. I will hop on over and chime in on the already ongoing thread. Thanks!!
Mike,
I too, will be there for Saturday only. We were planning on staying there for the whole weekend but, due to other issues arising . . we're just going to come out on Saturday.

I was there last year. Hope to have a meet up. Like I posted before I'll be camping at the park that weekend, so if any one would like to stop by afterwards and poke a stick at the fire and have a refreshmant you would be more than welcome. Just set the time for the meetup, and I'll be there (good Lord willing)!
How about this to be able to recogize a fellow Xmarker
Just copy this pic. print and laminate it and wear it as a badge. What do you think?

Wish I was going to be there this year. Last year I was in Cincinnati and went down to the weekend. Met Mike in Dayton and had a wonderful time. They have a great collection of vendors that makes it well worth your time to go.

Of course, it's Mother's Day weekend, AND my mother's birthday is that weekend, AND I have a class to help teach that weekend...
Don't know if I'll make it, but I'll try.

I will be there with wife and kilted son in tow, probably for Saturday only. Trying to talk the wife into a two night camping trip for the weekend, but to her any accommodations outsidethe home that do not include a MR Coffee in the room are considered far too primitive for her to stay in. ;)

Tell her she has no excuse now.

J. | Thanks J for the generous offer and support. You don't know my wife, however, and excuses are like weeds in the garden---as soon as you get rid of one another one shows up, then another,........
Will keep you posted.
