Tilted Kilt Coming to Baltimore

I see from the Tilted Kilt website that they are opening a store in Baltimore. They don't even have the "holder" page set up yet, so it will probably be a while, but when it opens we should have a gathering.

Guys...it's just like a Bennigans only with "naughty Scottish schoolgirl" outfits on the waitresses...it's a franchise...

I guess my point is: support the independent type pubs that aren't part of a national chain...the franchise places are just grabbing a theme to get your attention and don't necessarily have any real interest in the theme that they grab.

I just received an email from a friend today about the Tilted Kilt on The Avenue in White Marsh, not open yet but when it is, I'll be there! It's not far from where I live, I'll keep an eye on it and let everyone know.

Just to let everyone know that the Tilted Kilt on the Avenue at White Marsh opened their doors for business on Sunday, Aug.22, 2010. Hope to see some members there.

Went there for lunch today. Service was good, food was okay. Not being a fan of sports bars anyway, I'm not sure I'll go back. I was amused by our server, Kelsie, who kindly wrote down her name for us, saying, "we all look alike here." My wife dryly commented, "from the neck down..."
