| | | New Jersey at Thanksgiving
Anything going on in New Jersey over Thanksgiving weekend? We will be in the Paramus Area from Wednesday evening until Sunday Afternoon. Any good pubs in the bergen county area?
Thanks

Since you will be just over the river you can come into the city and try, http://www.mcsorleysnewyork.com/home.html
if you have never been here it is worth the visit but try to go during the
day, when it is not crowded and you can enjoy all that it has to offer.

I wish I was heading back home (Hunterdon County) for Tgiving as my cousin and his wife are visiting from Kent (he's a Northern Ireland MacLean). If there's a chance, I'm going to swing it so fingers crossed I win the lottery! Or work gives me the time off!
Cheers,
Noah

There are at least three folks who have lived in Hunterdon (including me), plus one who lives there now, by my count... Random facts...

I grew up there, however, I've never been kilted there (I've only started wearing kilts somewhat regularly recently)... and would be curious how folks would react. I've told my family about it but there seems to be a non-response.

Well, I was kilted there quite frequently, having been in a number of pipe bands and playing solo gigs, and never had any negative reactions that I can recall

They use to be great, but now they have bands who subscribe to the theory that if you sing louder it sounds like you are singing better. Don't get me wrong, I love music, and I like good food, but I want to enjoy my meal and talking to friends without having the table shake or having to talk 300dB above my normal speaking voice.
By the way, I live in New Jersey, and would possibly be down for a pub crawl in the Passaic/Bergen county area during Thanksgiving.
