| | | Tartan Day Emergency - can you help?
I am marching in the parade today and my kilt has vanished - thanks to my dry cleaner!!! The parade is in 3hrs and i am tartan free, At this stage, I can't be fussy about clan. Anything tartan would do - even a scarf! Anyone got any idea where a girl can buy something last minute tartan in NYC??

Had I known of his plight in time, I would have recommended that he go to St Andrew's Pub, just off Times Square, and borrow a kilt from a member of staff. St Andrew's is the only Scottish Pub in Manhattan, and the only one where staff wears kilts every day of the year.

I haven't been able to get there yet, though, so don't know if the staff is kilted. But not all staff at St. Andrew's is kilted, either.
